Hi I’m the guy behind NutBar, and this is just a little bit about me.

I am a SciFi Nerd, a Gadget Geek, and a Mac Freak.  My wife thinks I’m crazy for loving these things the way I do.  She can’t stand my obsession with gadgets and sometimes it cuases a fight when I go out and buy the next new thing I can’t live without.  I have always, as long as I can remember enjoyed reading.  I learned to read by listening to one of those books on tape that you listen to and read along as the tape plays, as if I haven’t just told everyone my age, that was The Hobbit.  I also love to play video games every chance I get to.  I love the first person shooters most of all, but sports, soccer and hockey would have to be my very next favorites.

I began NutBar to learn what this whole blogging thing was all about and I’m still searching for exactly what I should be writing about.  My favorite blogs, listed on my blog roll, would have to be Futurismic, SF Signal, Boing Boing, and Wired.  So I hope that this is something that will become popular and that I will gain some readers.  I know that the content of this will change quite frequently in the infant stages but one thing it will always contain are reviews of the books I read, I hope they get better; reviews of the movies I see, reviews of the gadgets I own, and showing off of the gadgets I so dearly love.
